Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level II Trauma Center

Position Overview

Essential Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessment and triage in high-acuity situations
- Deliver expert nursing care for diverse patient populations, from pediatric to geriatric
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage multiple critical cases simultaneously while maintaining exceptional care standards
- Implement individualized care plans and monitor patient progress
- Document patient care using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Provide comprehensive discharge planning and patient education
- Participate in trauma team response and emergency protocols
Required Qualifications
- Current Florida RN license or multi-state compact license
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience (ED, ICU, or PCU)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days)
- ACLS certification (or obtained within 90 days)
- PALS certification (or obtained within 90 days)
- ENPC certification (or obtained within 6 months)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous paramedic experience
- CEN certification
- Trauma nursing experience
