Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level II Trauma Center

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform rapid patient assessment and triage across all age groups and acuity levels
- Deliver critical nursing interventions in high-stakes emergency situations
- Coordinate complex patient care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Manage multiple high-acuity cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Implement individualized care plans and provide thorough discharge instructions
- Document patient care using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Serve as a clinical resource for newer staff members
Required Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license or multi-state compact license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (BSN preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
