Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level II Trauma Center
Join our dynamic Emergency Department as a dedicated Emergency Room RN where you'll make a difference in patients' lives every day. We're seeking an experienced, compassionate nurse to provide critical care in our fast-paced, state-of-the-art emergency department serving Southwest Florida.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert emergency nursing care through patient assessment, triage, and treatment
- Manage multiple high-acuity patients while maintaining exceptional care standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Implement individualized care plans and monitor patient progress
- Provide critical nursing interventions in life-threatening situations
- Document patient care accurately and comprehensively
- Mentor new staff and contribute to a positive team environment
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license or multi-state license (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (BSN preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- PALS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
