Facilities Maintenance Supervisor - Lead Your Team to Excellence

We're seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead our high-performing maintenance team in Charlottesville, VA. In this key leadership role, you'll oversee all aspects of building maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects while managing a skilled team of maintenance professionals.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and safety
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for facility systems and equipment
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance projects, repairs, and renovations
• Manage contractor relationships and oversee third-party service providers
• Create and maintain maintenance schedules, budgets, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
• 4+ years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance or construction management
• Valid Virginia Driver's License
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, CAD, and building construction standards
• Strong knowledge of national, state, and local building codes
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and work order management systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade license in relevant field
• Technical training or completed apprenticeship in building trades
• Experience in healthcare or commercial facility management
