Senior Radiologic Technologist - CT Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable radiography examinations for patients across all age groups
• Operate CT scanning equipment with precise attention to detail
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and exposure techniques
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation
• Adapt procedures for patients of varying ages and conditions
• Implement radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT(R) certification required
• ARRT(CT) certification required within 2 years of hire
• Valid Virginia State License
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Proven knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology
• Strong computer technology proficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
