Senior Healthcare Facility Operations Manager
We're seeking a dynamic Senior Healthcare Facility Operations Manager to join our leading healthcare organization. This role combines strategic facility management with operational excellence, ensuring our healthcare environment maintains the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Position Overview
As Senior Healthcare Facility Operations Manager, you'll partner with the Director of Facility Management to oversee our healthcare facility operations, manage a skilled team, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while optimizing facility performance and safety.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead daily facility operations and maintenance activities across our healthcare campus
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and resource allocation
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs using advanced CMMS systems
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility services
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS)
- Direct construction and renovation projects while maintaining operational continuity
- Implement energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability programs
- Mentor and develop facility management team members
- Maintain emergency management protocols and safety programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field
- 5+ years of healthcare facility management experience
- Proven experience managing major healthcare utility systems
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements
- Experience with CMMS and project management software
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CHFM, CHC, or CHE certification
- Master's degree in related field
- Experience with healthcare construction projects
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in healthcare
