Hospital Pharmacy Manager & PIC (Pharmacist-in-Charge)

We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Manager to lead pharmaceutical operations at our state-of-the-art community hospital. This leadership role combines clinical excellence with operational management, offering the opportunity to shape and enhance our pharmacy services while ensuring optimal patient care outcomes.

Position Overview

As Pharmacy Manager and PIC, you'll oversee comprehensive pharmaceutical services across our health system, leading a talented team while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate pharmacy operations, workflows, and staff scheduling
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight of pharmaceutical services
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Manage inventory control and budget responsibilities
• Mentor and develop pharmacy staff
• Participate in clinical pharmacy services as needed

Required Qualifications

• PharmD from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• Current Virginia Pharmacist license or eligible for reciprocity within 90 days
• Minimum 3 years hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• ASHP-accredited residency or advanced degree
• Previous management experience
• Experience with electronic health record systems
