Senior Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound Technologist)

Position Overview:

As a Senior Sonographer, you'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment providing exceptional diagnostic imaging services to a diverse patient population, from neonates to geriatric patients. You'll collaborate with our expert team of radiologists and healthcare professionals while utilizing advanced ultrasound technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to established protocols
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
• Document and archive examination findings
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functionality
• Assist in training new staff and students
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• ARDMS certification in at least one specialty area
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist patients and manage equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience
• Multiple ARDMS specialty registries
• Experience with various ultrasound equipment manufacturers
