Radiologic Technologist - CT Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform general diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable radiography examinations
- Operate CT scanning equipment with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain accurate patient positioning and exposure techniques
- Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response
- Mentor and work alongside Radiography students
- Contribute to departmental productivity and performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain continuing education requirements and stay current with industry developments
Required Qualifications:
- Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider)
- Virginia Radiologic Technologist license or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Comprehensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proven experience in CT scanning and general radiographic procedures
- Strong computer technology proficiency
- Excellence in patient care across all age groups
