Core Responsibilities:

• Orchestrate and oversee clinical placements for surgical technology students
• Provide expert instruction in surgical technology laboratory courses to small groups of 10 students
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities and clinical partners
• Implement innovative teaching methodologies in surgical technology education
• Create and update curriculum to reflect current surgical practices and industry standards
• Guide students through their educational journey with mentorship and academic advising
• Participate in program development and accreditation activities

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current Surgical Technologist certification required
• Surgical First Assist certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in surgical settings
• Ability to work flexible hours in a full-time capacity
• Experience in externships or preceptorships preferred
