Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level I Trauma Center

Position Overview

As an ER RN, you'll be a vital member of our emergency care team, providing life-saving care to patients with conditions ranging from minor injuries to critical illnesses. Working alongside world-class healthcare professionals, you'll utilize your clinical expertise in a collaborative, supportive environment that values excellence in patient care.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions in high-acuity situations
• Coordinate and deliver evidence-based emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Execute efficient triage protocols and maintain organized patient flow
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Mentor new staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain current knowledge of emergency care protocols and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license or multi-state compact license
• Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience (ED, ICU, or PCU)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
• PALS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
• ENPC certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
