Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level II Trauma Center

Position Overview

As a crucial member of our emergency care team, you'll provide life-saving care to patients with conditions ranging from minor injuries to critical illnesses. You'll work alongside a collaborative, supportive team of healthcare professionals in a Level II Trauma Center known for excellence in emergency medicine.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessment and triage across all age groups and acuity levels
• Execute critical nursing interventions and life-saving procedures
• Manage multiple high-acuity patients simultaneously while maintaining exceptional care standards
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team members
• Implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Provide comprehensive discharge planning and patient education
• Document patient care using electronic medical records (EMR)

Required Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license or multi-state compact license
• Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience (ED, ICU, or PCU)
• Paramedic experience highly valued
• Required certifications (or ability to obtain):
  • ACLS (within 90 days)
  • BLS (within 30 days)
  • PALS (within 90 days)
  • TNCC (within 6 months)
  • ENPC (within 6 months)
