Cardiac Sonographer - Echocardiography Specialist (RDCS/RCS)

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac ultrasound imaging using M-mode, color flow Doppler, and 2D imaging techniques
• Execute imaging protocols in accordance with IACEL standards
• Assist physicians during Transesophageal Echocardiogram procedures
• Manage and optimize patient workflow to ensure efficient service delivery
• Operate and maintain both fixed and mobile diagnostic equipment
• Document and archive study findings according to department protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Current ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) registration with Adult Echocardiography (AE) certification
• Associate's degree or certificate in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
