Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency care with compassion and clinical excellence
- Perform rapid patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Lead and mentor support staff while maintaining efficient ER operations
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license or eligibility for Florida licensure
- Minimum 1 year of acute care ER experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred
- ACLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- PALS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
