Pharmacy Operations Manager & PIC (Pharmacist-in-Charge)

Position Overview

As Pharmacy Operations Manager, you'll lead our pharmacy team in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care while optimizing operational efficiency and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to impact patient care at a system level.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate pharmacy operations across multiple facilities
• Supervise and develop pharmacy staff, including scheduling and workflow optimization
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to enhance pharmaceutical services
• Participate in clinical pharmacy duties as needed
• Manage inventory and budgetary responsibilities
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and process optimization

Required Qualifications

• PharmD from ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• Current Virginia Pharmacist license or eligible for reciprocity within 90 days
• Minimum 3 years hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in pharmacy information systems

Preferred Qualifications

• ASHP-accredited residency or advanced degree
• Previous management experience
• Experience with multiple hospital pharmacy settings
