Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room Specialist

Join our dynamic surgical team as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. As a key member of our surgical services department, you'll work alongside leading surgeons in a state-of-the-art operating room environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique during surgical procedures
• Prepare operating room by gathering and arranging sterile supplies and instruments
• Anticipate surgeon's needs during procedures and pass instruments and supplies
• Ensure proper functioning of surgical equipment and technology
• Monitor and maintain sterile conditions throughout procedures
• Assist with specimen care and documentation
• Participate in pre and post-operative room turnover

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current State Board certification (or eligible to obtain prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
• 2+ years of operating room experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and human anatomy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment
