Senior Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse - Level III

Position Overview

As a CVOR RN III, you'll serve as the patient advocate during cardiac procedures, utilizing advanced clinical skills and leadership abilities to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

• • Lead complex cardiac surgical procedures as primary circulator or scrub nurse • Maintain sterile field integrity and manage surgical instrumentation • Coordinate with multidisciplinary surgical teams • Perform patient assessments and documentation • Monitor and operate sophisticated surgical equipment • Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives • Cross-train in non-cardiac specialties as needed

Required Qualifications

• • BSN required, MSN preferred • Current RN license in Virginia (multi-state or single-state) • Minimum 5,616 hours of RN experience • BLS Certification (AHA) • Cardiac surgery experience • Strong leadership and communication skills • Physical ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs
