Position Overview

As a Clinical Staff I Pharmacist on our midnight shift, you'll be an integral part of our overnight pharmacy operations, delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical services across multiple specialized areas of our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage central pharmacy operations during overnight hours
• Oversee medication preparation in our advanced admixture center
• Provide specialized support in our cardiovascular tower satellite pharmacy
• Conduct pharmacokinetic consultations
• Participate in emergency code response
• Address clinical inquiries from healthcare providers and nursing staff
• Ensure medication safety and regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• Current Virginia pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure within 90 days
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellence in communication and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
• Hospital pharmacy experience
• Critical care experience
