Senior Radiologic Technologist - CT Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable radiography examinations across all patient age groups
- Operate CT scanning equipment with precision and attention to detail
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and exposure techniques
- Maintain detailed patient records using advanced imaging software
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality control procedures
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (R) certification required at hire
- ARRT (CT) certification required within 2 years of hire
- Current Virginia State License in Radiologic Technology
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Comprehensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong computer skills and experience with medical imaging software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
