Vascular Surgery Technologist II - Operating Room Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile field during vascular surgical procedures
- Anticipate surgeon's needs and assist with instrument handling
- Ensure proper setup and handling of specialized vascular surgical equipment
- Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and instruments
- Collaborate with OR team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Participate in surgical counts and documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program
- Current certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Registration eligibility with VA Department of Health Professions
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and medical terminology
