Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Paramedic - Advanced Life Support Specialist

As a valued member of our EMS team, you'll utilize advanced medical skills and state-of-the-art equipment to deliver exceptional pre-hospital emergency care in both ground and air transport settings.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced life support care in emergency and non-emergency situations
• Perform critical medical interventions including cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and advanced airway management
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement appropriate treatment protocols
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and efficiently in various conditions
• Maintain detailed patient care records and complete required documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, law enforcement, and other emergency response personnel
• Ensure emergency vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and stocked
• Participate in continuing education and maintain all required certifications

Required Qualifications:

• Current Virginia State Paramedic License
• National Registry Paramedic Certification (preferred)
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and EVOC
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform essential job functions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Emergency Medical Services or related field
• 1+ years of paramedic experience
• PALS, PHTLS/BTLS, and NRP certifications
• Experience with electronic patient care reporting systems
