Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments with precision using EPIC EMR system
- Provide patient/family education and support throughout the care journey
- Document care accurately and maintain detailed electronic medical records
- Mentor and support nursing support staff while fostering a team-oriented environment
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Virginia RN license or eligibility to obtain
- Current BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP as needed)
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR systems
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
