Pharmacy Operations Manager & PIC (Pharmacist-in-Charge)
We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead our hospital pharmacy team at Facilitator's Community Hospital. This leadership role combines clinical excellence with operational management, offering an opportunity to shape pharmaceutical care delivery while working collaboratively with our broader healthcare network.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise pharmacy staff across multiple facilities
- Optimize workflow processes and scheduling to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
- Coordinate pharmaceutical services with other hospital departments
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and professional standards
- Participate in clinical pharmacy services as needed
- Manage pharmacy budget and inventory control
- Implement quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- PharmD from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Current Virginia Pharmacist license or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in pharmacy information systems
- Excellence in clinical decision-making and problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASHP-accredited residency or advanced degree
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Experience with multiple hospital pharmacy settings
