Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Maintain strict sterile technique during surgical procedures
• Anticipate surgeon's needs and pass instruments during operations
• Monitor and maintain sterile field throughout procedures
• Assist in counting surgical instruments, sponges, and supplies
• Operate sterilization equipment and document results
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current State Board certification (required by start date)
• Valid BLS Certification from American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment
