Senior Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse - Level III

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate patient care during complex cardiac surgical procedures
• Maintain strict sterile technique and surgical safety protocols
• Manage and operate advanced surgical equipment and monitoring systems
• Perform pre and post-operative patient assessments
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary surgical teams
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to other OR staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Float to non-cardiac specialties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• BSN required, MSN preferred
• Current RN license in Virginia (or eligible for licensure)
• Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience (5,616 hours)
• Current BLS certification (AHA approved)
• Advanced cardiac surgery certification preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Demonstrated clinical excellence in cardiac surgery
