Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Emergency Department (ED) | Leadership Role

Position Overview:
As Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in our Emergency Department, overseeing clinical operations and staff during your designated shifts while maintaining our high standards of patient care excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate emergency department operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and quality care delivery
- Supervise nursing staff while providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Implement and maintain clinical protocols and evidence-based practices
- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing mentorship and guidance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols
- Coordinate patient education and discharge planning
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state
- Minimum 2-3 years Emergency Department nursing experience
- Prior Charge Nurse experience
- Current BLS certification
- Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Additional Requirements:
- ACLS and PALS certification (required within 1 year)
- CPI certification (required within 6 months)
- Trauma experience (preferred)
