Position Overview

As the L&D Unit Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure clinical excellence, and drive quality patient outcomes while fostering a culture of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of nursing professionals in delivering exceptional patient-centered care
• Drive clinical excellence through implementation of evidence-based practices
• Manage unit operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Optimize patient flow and throughput processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's (MSN) preferred
• Current RN license in state of practice or compact license
• 3-5 years clinical experience in Labor & Delivery or Maternal Care
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in L&D setting
• Specialty certification (required within 6 months of hire)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives
