Senior Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist - IR/Neuro Specialist

Position Overview:

As a VIR Technologist, you'll specialize in advanced angiographic imaging procedures, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care across various clinical specialties, including neurological, thoracic, and peripheral vascular interventions.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform complex vascular and interventional radiology procedures
• Execute specialized imaging techniques for neurological, thoracic, and abdominal procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures
• Monitor and care for patients across adult through geriatric populations
• Operate advanced imaging equipment and maintain quality control standards
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records

Required Qualifications:

• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Cardiovascular registration (CV) preferred
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
• BCLS certification (must obtain within 30 days)
• ACLS certification (must obtain within 6 months)
• 1 year VIR experience preferred (consideration given for strong imaging background)
