Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level 1 Trauma Center

Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional emergency care in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
- Perform rapid patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Provide patient and family education regarding care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
- Supervise and mentor support staff and nursing students
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license or eligibility for Florida licensure
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care ER experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- ACLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- BLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- PALS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
