Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level II Trauma Center

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide expert emergency nursing care through patient assessment, triage, and treatment
• Manage multiple high-acuity patients while maintaining clinical excellence
• Implement individualized care plans and interventions based on evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform emergency procedures and administer medications according to established protocols
• Coordinate patient care activities and facilitate smooth transitions between departments
• Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in EMR systems

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or multi-state compact license
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (BSN preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellence in emergency care and trauma management
