Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist - Advanced Cardiac Care Specialist

Position Overview

As an EP Technologist, you'll play a crucial role in our cardiovascular team, operating sophisticated cardiac mapping systems and supporting physicians during complex electrophysiology procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while delivering outstanding patient care.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain advanced EP laboratory equipment and recording systems
• Assist physicians during cardiac ablation procedures and device implantations
• Monitor and record cardiac electrical activity during procedures
• Ensure proper setup and calibration of diagnostic equipment
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent acute care EP Tech experience
• Associate Degree in related field
• Current RCES certification or ARRT with Florida State Registration
• Ability to obtain ACLS within 90 days of employment
• Ability to obtain BLS within 30 days of employment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
