Clinical Nurse Leader - Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Position Overview

As the Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), you'll lead our night shift team in delivering superior patient care while managing operational responsibilities. This role offers the perfect blend of clinical practice and leadership, allowing you to make a significant impact on patient outcomes and staff development.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate patient care delivery during night shift operations
• Manage labor and delivery unit workflow, including emergency situations
• Perform hands-on clinical duties including delivering babies and OR scrub assistance
• Direct and mentor nursing staff while promoting evidence-based practices
• Oversee patient admission and discharge processes
• Coordinate staffing requirements and scheduling
• Implement quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in staff development and performance evaluations
• Maintain inventory control and equipment management

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Minimum 2 years L&D experience
• Previous leadership experience in Women's Services
• BCLS certification (required within 30 days)
• ACLS certification (required within 1 year)
• Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery, including emergency management
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
