Clinical Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery (L&D) Leadership
We're seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Labor & Delivery unit at our state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Texas. In this pivotal leadership role, you'll drive clinical excellence, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional patient care in our growing women's health department.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a dynamic team of L&D nurses while fostering a culture of clinical excellence
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient care quality and satisfaction
- Manage departmental operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Drive continuous quality improvement through data analysis and best practice implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Oversee staff education and professional development programs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of recent acute care Labor & Delivery leadership experience
- Active Texas RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current BCLS certification
- Clinical expertise in high-risk obstetrics
- Strong track record of leadership and team development
- Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills
Required Certifications (or must obtain within 6 months):
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
- ACLS certification
