Clinical Nurse Manager - Critical Care Unit (ICU/CCU)

Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight and 24/7 accountability for critical care operations and patient care delivery
- Lead and develop a high-performing nursing team through mentorship and evidence-based practice implementation
- Drive quality metrics and patient safety initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation effectively
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in patient care
- Implement and monitor clinical best practices and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and infection prevention protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- BSN required; MSN preferred
- Current Texas RN license or compact license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care leadership experience
- National Specialty Certification required (or obtainable within 1 year)
- Current BLS/ACLS certification
- Experience in Magnet® or Pathway to Excellence® facilities preferred
- Strong clinical and operational leadership capabilities
- Excellence in team building and staff development
