Job Responsibilities

• Direct and manage full-cycle accounts payable operations across multiple healthcare facilities
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing AP team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement
• Oversee vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly and accurately
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Serve as the primary liaison for vendor relations, payment inquiries, and issue resolution
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency, automation, and scalability
• Manage month-end close activities including AP accruals, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams on strategic financial projects and system enhancements
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and compliance standards are met
• Implement and maintain best practices in accounts payable processes and vendor management

Job Requirements

• Required: Experience working in a nursing home or long-term care organization
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounts payable or financial operations experience
• At least 2 years in a supervisory, managerial, or leadership role
• Proficiency in RHS Visual EMR software is required
• Strong knowledge of AP best practices, internal controls, and ERP systems
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams in high-volume, fast-paced healthcare environments
• Proven track record of process optimization and operational efficiency
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing facilities, or healthcare finance strongly preferred
