Physical Therapy Center Manager – Lead Clinical Operations & Patient Care
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Therapy Center Manager to lead our dynamic rehabilitation team. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations Management:
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists and occupational therapists to deliver exceptional patient care
- Develop and maintain a positive workplace culture that promotes team morale, employee engagement, and staff retention
- Manage daily clinic operations including staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development
- Oversee budget development, financial planning, and profitability metrics to ensure sustainable clinic growth
- Execute strategic marketing initiatives and referral development programs to expand patient base
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare payers, and community partners
- Monitor and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial reports to optimize clinic performance
- Ensure the clinic maintains a clean, professional, and welcoming therapeutic environment
Clinical Excellence & Patient Care:
- Provide direct physical therapy treatment to patients, maintaining an active caseload
- Deliver evidence-based, high-quality rehabilitation services in accordance with state practice guidelines
- Supervise clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and effective caseload management
- Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and medical necessity justifications
- Maintain collaborative communication with patients, interdisciplinary team members, and referring healthcare providers
- Ensure all clinical practices align with established protocols and best practices in physical therapy
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
- Ensure full compliance with state licensure requirements, federal healthcare regulations, and company policies
- Manage employee credentialing files, professional certifications, and mandatory annual training programs
- Conduct regular staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance audits
- Oversee facility safety standards, equipment maintenance, calibration schedules, and OSHA compliance requirements
- Implement and monitor HR policies related to employee relations and workplace standards
- Maintain documentation systems that meet regulatory and accreditation standards
Required Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
- Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Experience: Proven leadership experience in healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Management Skills: Demonstrated ability in team leadership, staff development, and operational management
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals
- Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and clinical decision-making capabilities

- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and provide hands-on patient assistance as needed
