Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) | Syracuse, NY Area

Join a patient-centered women's health practice as a Board Eligible or Board Certified OB/GYN Physician in the thriving Syracuse, New York area. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient obstetrics and gynecology services across assigned clinic locations
  • Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including labor and delivery management and gynecologic surgical procedures at partner hospital facility
  • Perform routine and high-risk prenatal care, well-woman exams, and gynecologic consultations
  • Meet established productivity expectations and quality metrics for clinic-based patient care
  • Manage administrative responsibilities including laboratory results review, medical chart documentation, and prescription refills
  • Complete accurate and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation in accordance with department standards and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in medication reconciliation, note finalization, and collaborative clinic pool management
  • Adhere to medical practice policies, attend mandatory meetings, and practice cost-effective, evidence-based medicine
  • Collaborate with laborist support team to minimize on-call burden (anticipated 4-5 times monthly)

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by ABOG
  • Unrestricted medical license to practice in New York State (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience in direct primary care or OB/GYN practice
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification
  • Current DEA certificate for controlled substance prescribing
  • Demonstrated proficiency in electronic medical records systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare team members
