Job Responsibilities

• Administer safe and effective anesthesia care to patients in the operating room (OR) and ambulatory surgery center settings
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient assessments and surgical requirements
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and adjust anesthesia delivery as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities
• Provide patient and family education regarding anesthesia procedures and postoperative care

Job Requirements

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program
• Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
• Active or eligible for New York State RN license and CRNA certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
