We're seeking a dynamic Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative medical device company in Danvers, MA. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead production optimization, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure manufacturing excellence for our cutting-edge medical device portfolio.
• Lead process optimization and automation projects to enhance productivity
• Develop and validate ISO/FDA-compliant manufacturing procedures
• Implement cost-saving measures through innovative engineering solutions
• Oversee equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and new product transitions
• Design custom fixtures and tooling to boost production efficiency
• Manage technical documentation, including work instructions and engineering changes
• Provide expert technical support for production and problem resolution
• Collaborate with R&D on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and cost optimization
• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in medical devices
• Proven expertise in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
• Strong foundation in engineering drawings, specifications, and process planning
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and technical documentation
• Machine shop knowledge (milling, turning, grinding) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strong analytical abilities and self-motivated work ethic
