About the Job:We are seeking a motivated and talented engineer with strong transportation experience to join our Dallas-Fort Worth area office (Denton, Texas). The ideal candidate will support projects at the project engineer or project manager level, contributing to the development of a growing transportation portfolio.

This opportunity allows the selected candidate to work as part of a national team with additional offices in Chicago and Denver. Job Duties and Responsibilities:Support various civil engineering projects, including but not limited to:

  • Stormwater Management
  • Detention Design
Hydraulics and Hydrology ModelingStorm Sewer DesignReport PreparationGradingEarthworkQuantities TakeoffSite GeometryUnderground Utilities LayoutConstruction Specifications & DetailsTransportation
  • Roadway Design
  • Intersection Design
  • Sidewalk Design
  • Corridor Development
  • Concept Planning

Additional Tasks:

  • Support diverse civil engineering projects
  • Budget and schedule management

Qualifications:

Qualifications:The ideal candidate is motivated, ambitious, and has a strong grasp of civil engineering methods, tools, and processes with limited supervision.

  • Experience working with federally funded projects
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • At least 4-8 years of civil engineering experience (P.E. preferred but not required)

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and flexible environment
  • Experience managing multiple long-term projects and immediate tasks concurrently
  • Strong team collaboration and independent work capabilities
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Ability to confidently lead meetings
  • Ability to create a plan set with limited supervision
