We're seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our client's rapidly growing global Food & Beverage manufacturing operation in Indianapolis. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your technical expertise to drive operational excellence, enhance equipment efficiency, and spearhead process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize Production Processes:

• Develop and implement innovative process systems
• Improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams for seamless integration of new products

• Lead Process Improvement Initiatives:

• Design and execute projects focused on capacity expansion and cost reduction
• Analyze and solve complex manufacturing challenges
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies

• Ensure Regulatory Compliance:

• Maintain adherence to FDA regulations, GMPs, and HACCP principles
• Conduct food safety and defense self-inspections
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions (CAPA)

• Technical Leadership:

• Provide expert support for equipment installation and maintenance
• Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Train manufacturing personnel on new or modified processing lines

Requirements

• Education: BS in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical)
• Experience: 5-10 years in food & beverage manufacturing
• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in aseptic manufacturing and utilities (CIP, SIP, steam barriers)
• Understanding of high-speed packaging equipment
• Familiarity with P&IDs, layout drawings, and schematics
  • Soft Skills:
• Strong project management abilities
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills
• Leadership experience preferred
