A leading industrial solutions provider in Noblesville, Indiana, is seeking an experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge control systems to optimize fluid recovery and industrial processes.
• Design and program advanced PLCs, HMIs, and control systems using Allen-Bradley hardware (MicroLogix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix) and software (RSLogix 500/5000, FactoryTalk)
• Develop and interpret complex logic diagrams, wiring schematics, P&IDs, and control narratives
• Troubleshoot and repair sophisticated electrical systems, including PLC modules and HMIs
• Lead system start-up operations, resolve field issues, and provide technical guidance to operators
• Oversee control panel design, conduct equipment inspections, and manage AutoCAD drawing updates
• Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, technicians, and external vendors to ensure seamless system integration
• Establish and maintain programming standards, remote access systems, and comprehensive documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (preferred)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI programming (CompactLogix, MicroLogix, PanelView)
• Proven expertise in control panel design and FactoryTalk programming
• Advanced proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and VB scripting
• Strong ability to interpret electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and control narratives
• Solid background in mechanical, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting
• Experience with mathematical modeling and DCS system integration (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in team environments
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
