Senior Electrical Engineer - Sensor Technology & Product Development

A leading technology innovator in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to spearhead the design and development of next-generation pressure sensor technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end pressure sensor development projects from concept to production
• Design and optimize electronic systems for high-precision pressure sensors utilizing oil-filled pressure buttons
• Develop and implement signal processing solutions to meet customer specifications
• Analyze and optimize sensor performance metrics including accuracy, sensitivity, and power consumption
• Create comprehensive test protocols for validation and production phases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensor systems
• Select optimal components based on environmental requirements and performance specifications
• Build and validate prototype sensors in laboratory settings

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of electronics design and development experience
• Proven expertise in pressure sensor design and applications
• Strong background in piezoelectric pressure sensor technology
• Advanced knowledge of microcontroller and FPGA-based system design
• Proficiency in circuit design software (MATLAB, SPICE, PROTEUS, ALTIUM)
• Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN LIN)
• Hands-on PCB prototyping and development skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Embedded firmware development experience (Microchip, STMicro, TI)
• Signal processing expertise with MATLAB and LABVIEW
• Python programming for test automation
• Manufacturing process knowledge (APQP, DFM)
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial applications
