Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned projects from concept through completion, ensuring technical excellence and efficiency.
• Develop project requirements to address product and process challenges while supporting new product development.
• Conduct technical investigations, prepare design specifications, perform analyses, and make recommendations for management approval.
• Lead mechanical design efforts for prototype, pre-commercial, and commercial products in an advanced product development environment.
• Utilize SolidWorks for mechanical design and perform Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS preferred) to optimize product performance.
• Drive product innovation with a focus on manufacturability and quality.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET Accredited preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Expertise in SolidWorks and Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS preferred).
• Proven track record of technical leadership and successful product design for manufacturing.
