Are you a seasoned aviation professional with a passion for General Aviation projects? We’re seeking an Aviation Project Manager to lead and deliver impactful airport development initiatives. Manage and oversee aviation and airport projects from inception to completion, with a focus on General Aviation.
Develop and nurture client relationships to secure new business opportunities and maintain ongoing partnerships.
Prepare, coordinate, and submit grant applications, including FAA AIP (Airport Improvement Program) proposals.
Interpret and apply FAA Advisory Circulars, ensuring compliance and technical accuracy throughout planning and execution.
Assist in the development of airport layout plans, master plans, and capital improvement programs.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and provide project updates to stakeholders.
Deliver clear, effective presentations to clients and government agencies.
Maintain detailed knowledge of local, state, and federal aviation regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Aviation/Airport Management, or Transportation Planning from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of General Aviation experience.
Strong understanding of FAA Advisory Circulars and the Airport Improvement Program Handbook.
Proven ability in preparing aviation project proposals and grant applications.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Self-starter with the ability to lead initiatives and work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to offer innovative solutions.
Working knowledge of airport design and construction specifications is a bonus.
