Cambridge, Massachusetts · Information Technology

💰 Pay: $165,000–$190,000 + 10% 401(k) Match + Elite Benefits

Join a Leader in Cutting-Edge Sensor Technology

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sensor Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of analog and mixed-signal electronics for high-performance applications. In this role, you’ll architect and deliver advanced sensor systems used in precision instrumentation, radiation-hardened environments, motor controllers, and analog-to-digital conversion platforms.

You'll work in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment and play a key role from concept through deployment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of mission-critical electronics systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop analog front ends, signal conditioning circuits, and high-fidelity analog-to-digital converters.

  • Create architecture and circuit designs; perform simulations and lead physical layout.

  • Execute end-to-end testing and verification of circuit designs to ensure performance meets or exceeds specifications.

  • Optimize designs for reduced size, weight, and power (SWaP) in demanding environments.

  • Lead technical efforts in proposal development and business capture.

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in advanced sensor electronics and analog systems.

  • Identify and mitigate system-level risks throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

  • Document and communicate design decisions and best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in analog/mixed-signal circuit design.

  • Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout.

  • Experience with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE.

  • Strong background in system modeling and analysis using MATLAB, Simulink, or similar platforms.

  • Proven ability to independently resolve complex design challenges.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • U.S. Citizenship required. Requires an active secret clearance

Why This Role is Exceptional

  • Impactful Work: Contribute to groundbreaking projects that support national security, space exploration, and high-reliability instrumentation.

  • Career Growth: Expand your expertise as a technical leader and mentor in a well-funded, innovation-centric organization.

  • Stellar Compensation: Enjoy a top-tier benefits package including a generous 401(k) match, comprehensive health coverage, and performance incentives.
