Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily manufacturing operations for a high-growth life sciences production facility.
Manage and develop a team of 40–50 professionals, including staffing, training, and performance.
Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Oversee automation initiatives to increase production throughput and efficiency.
Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Maintenance, and IT to support product launches and capacity growth.
Establish, track, and report KPIs to ensure quality and compliance in a GMP-regulated environment.
Analyze operational and equipment data to resolve performance issues.
Maintain strict compliance with regulatory standards, including GMP.
Provide hands-on, strategic leadership with a focus on innovation and execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field required; MS or PhD in Organic Chemistry strongly preferred.
8–10 years of manufacturing leadership experience; plant floor oversight is highly desirable.
Strong foundation in organic chemistry; oligonucleotide synthesis experience is a major plus.
Proven expertise in automation, process optimization, and team leadership.
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and GMP compliance.
