Senior CAD Designer - Civil Engineering & Land Development | AutoCAD Civil 3D

Job Responsibilities

Create detailed civil engineering design drawings and construction documentation using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Provide technical design support for grading plans, drainage systems, utility layouts, and site development projects
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, landscape architects, and project managers to ensure accurate and coordinated deliverables
Prepare and modify site plans, grading and drainage plans, utility plans, and erosion control plans
Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines in a dynamic, team-focused environment
Maintain and improve CAD standards, drawing templates, and quality control procedures
Review and verify design calculations and technical specifications for accuracy
Participate in project coordination meetings and design reviews

Job Requirements

Minimum 4 years of professional CAD design experience in civil engineering or land development
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software (required)
Demonstrated experience with civil/site design, land development, or municipal infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of grading, drainage design, utility design, and site layout principles
Excellent technical drawing skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management abilities with proven multitasking skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Associate degree in CAD Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
