Process Technician - compliance

Royalton, VT · Manufacturing

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technician specializing in injection molding to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Royalton, VT. As a key production team member, you will oversee critical compliance and processing activities, ensuring top-quality output and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage start-up, in-process, and shutdown procedures in line with GMP and Quality Management System standards
• Conduct and document process/robotic/cycle time verifications during production start-up
• Perform regular mold preventive maintenance and initiate work orders for equipment issues
• Execute and maintain detailed records of 5S and Process audits
• Collaborate with quality assurance team to resolve product quality concerns
• Oversee material handling systems and optimize production efficiency
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians
• Step in as Shift Supervisor when required

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in injection molding processes and technologies
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting skills
• Excellent analytical thinking and mathematical abilities
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed production records and reports
• Team-oriented with superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to workplace safety protocols and continuous improvement
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a dynamic manufacturing environment
• Associate's degree in plastics technology or related field preferred
