Are you a seasoned contract management professional ready to support cutting-edge defense programs? We’re looking for a Senior Contracts Representative with deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS, cradle-to-grave contract administration, and federal acquisition strategies. This is a hybrid role based in Cambridge, MA, where you’ll play a critical role managing strategic customer relationships and high-value government contracts across the full contract lifecycle.
You’ll operate with autonomy, while collaborating closely with proposal and capture teams to drive favorable outcomes for high-stakes programs. Your expertise will shape pre-contract strategies, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance across diverse contract types—from BOAs and IDIQs to OTAs and R&D agreements.
Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for customer communications across a complex contract portfolio.
Lead cradle-to-grave contract management for long-term government contracts, including BOA, IDIQ, OTA, R&D, EMD, and production vehicles.
Develop and execute negotiation strategies during the business winning process.
Support proposal teams with risk analysis, pricing strategies, and compliance with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act requirements.
Review and clarify terms and conditions; set up contracts in internal systems and maintain official contract records.
Drive robust change management practices and lead resolution of contractual issues.
Interpret and communicate contract obligations throughout the program lifecycle, including disputes and closeouts.
Provide mentorship to junior contract staff and support cross-functional compliance and training efforts.
Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required; Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Law, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (CFCM, CPCM) a plus.
Experience: 5–10 years of direct experience in government contract management, preferably within defense, aerospace, or national security sectors.
Deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS, government acquisition processes, contract types (R&D, production, OTA), and compliance practices.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to independently manage complex workloads and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management systems.
